The Caisse du Réseau municipal is thrilled to announce the next chapter in its ongoing partnership with the Fondation des pompiers du Québec pour les grands brûlés. This long-standing collaboration, rooted in shared values of solidarity, prevention, and education, is now reaching a new milestone with a $75,000 commitment over three years to support the growth of the FLAMBO program.
FLAMBO: A fun tool for a serious cause
FLAMBO is so much more than just an educational program. It is a colourful, interactive world built to help kids and their families learn about fire safety in a way that truly sticks. Through games, fun activities, and lovable characters, FLAMBO makes fire prevention engaging and memorable for young learners.
The program is also a great resource for fire prevention technicians, giving them hands-on tools to support their outreach work with different audiences and helping them carry their awareness mission further into their communities.
A real commitment to keeping everyone safe
By supporting FLAMBO, the Caisse du Réseau municipal is reaffirming its commitment to the safety and well-being of communities. This financial support will help the Fondation des pompiers keep developing and sharing the program across Quebec, building a lasting culture of prevention along the way.
“We are proud to be part of this great adventure, and we want to recognize the outstanding work of Quebec’s fire prevention technicians and the Fondation des pompiers, whose dedication helps bring the importance of prevention to communities across Quebec,” said the Caisse’s leadership.
An inspiring collaboration
This partnership is a great example of what can happen when passionate people come together around a cause they believe in. Together, the Caisse du Réseau municipal and the Fondation des pompiers du Québec pour les grands brûlés are working toward a safer future for generations to come.
This partnership is made possible thanks to the Caisse’s Community Development Fund (CDF). Through its financial support and community engagement initiatives, the Caisse Desjardins du Réseau municipal champions collective projects that bring real energy and vitality to the municipal community. We are driven by a mission to foster the economic and social well-being of our community by bringing together municipal employees and fire safety professionals. We support the projects, causes, and events that matter to our members and make a real impact on their lives and well-being.
