To qualify, you must be a municipal employee and caisse member for at least 90 days before the annual general meeting, have a domicile, live, or work in Quebec, and belong to one of the groups defined by the caisse.

There are 5 open positions:
- 2 for Group A (firefighters)
- 1 for Group B (full Caisse members)/li>
- 1 for Group C (blue-collar workers)
- 1 for Group D (white-collar workers)
In particular, the board of directors is looking for members with the following profiles:
- Individuals with skills in one or more of the following areas: member/client experience, accounting, and information technology
- Women, to help reach gender parity; non-binary individuals are also encouraged to apply
- Members in the following age brackets: 18–34 and 35–49
- Individuals representing the municipal sector
- Individuals representing ethnocultural diversity
