We thank them for joining us!<\/p>\n<p>In the 4 days following the AGM, our members cast their votes on the distribution of annual surplus earnings and the election of board members. On Monday, April 28, our scrutineers counted the ballots, and we are happy to share the results.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dividend payment<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This section contains the approved proposal <strong><a href=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/3_FICHE_Repartition_AGA2025_92001_v1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">versement for dividend distribution for 2024.<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The surplus distribution proposal was approved, and we are excited to announce that <strong>$2,213,539<\/strong> will be returned to members of the Caisse Desjardins du R\u00e9seau municipal and the community, through member dividends and the Community Development Fund (CDF).<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>$1,920,006 will be paid out as individual dividends.<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>$293,533 will be paid out as community dividends <\/strong> via our Community Development Fund. This will allow the Caisse to continue supporting meaningful projects that have a direct impact on municipal employees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your group caisse\u2019s strong performance is what makes it all possible, allowing us to keep delivering on our mission and commitments. Your trust means the world to us, and we are truly grateful.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Board member election<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This year, we also had 5 seats to fill on our board of directors. We are happy to announce the newly elected members:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jean-Denis S\u00e9guin, Blue Collar Representative<\/li>\n<li>Simon Lalanne Camirand, Firefighter Representative<\/li>\n<li>Richard Prud&#8217;homme, Firefighter Representative<\/li>\n<li>Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Allard, Firefighter Representative<\/li>\n<li>Michel Guay, Firefighter Representative<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Congratulations! As a cooperative, our board of directors is responsible for setting the overall direction of our group caisse and ensuring it continues to serve the needs of its members. Select <strong>My Dividends<\/strong> in Acc\u00e8sD to view these details.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What are dividends?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is what being a cooperative is all about, and it is one of the real perks of being a caisse member. In plain terms, a dividend is a sum of money you can receive every year, as long as <a id=\"ref-note-conditions-versement\" class=\"appel-note\" href=\"https:\/\/www.desjardins.com\/ca\/about-us\/desjardins\/who-we-are\/member-dividends\/index.jsp#note-conditions-versement\"  target=\"_blank\">certain conditions are met. <\/a>. This money is returned to our individual and business members out of the surplus earnings generated by your caisse and the Desjardins Group at the end of the year.
