Enriching municipal employees, individually and collectively, since 1945

Our group caisse supports municipal employees and fire safety professionals throughout Quebec, both individually and collectively through municipal organizations, keeping us closely connected to their reality.

In 1945, a firefighter and a City of Montréal civil servant joined forces to establish workplace savings cooperatives. By pooling their financial resources, they aimed to foster financial independence and better meet their needs.

Connected to the municipal world

Municipal employees, backed by their associations, have a collective say in setting the direction of the caisse. Together, they work to find tangible ways to address the specific needs of their members.

  • Our caisse collaborates closely with community associations, unions, and professional groups to develop solutions tailored to your needs.
  • The caisse’s board of directors is composed of municipal employees—firefighters, blue-collar, and white-collar workers—who work together to ensure our decisions truly reflect your interests.

Who are our members?

All of our members work in the municipal sector, with representation from every corner of Quebec.

  • Permanent, temporary, and retired municipal employees, as well as their family members.
  • Firefighters from municipalities represented by the Syndicat des pompiers et pompières du Québec.
  • Students enrolled at the following institutions: the Académie des pompiers de Mirabel, the Institut de la protection contre les incendies du Québec, and the Fire Safety Technology program at Collège Montmorency.
